DL in contacts doesnt appear in journal options list.

I want to track in the journal all emails sent to a DL group at work. The DL
group is in my contacts list (not a sub folder or anything). BUT it doesnt
show up in the contacts list when I go into journal setup options.

That's by design. The journal feature can track only individual contacts.

Dare I ask,... Who's design. I often send dl messages to work groups and want
to track these. Why not include them/

Microsoft's design, of course. You'll need to track using the individual contacts, since personal DLs have no identity in Outlook other than as items to conveniently organize lists of addresses. Once the message is sent, there is nothing about it to indicate that a DL was ever involved.
