distribution lists

Can disribution lists be set up straight from catagories? Can anyone tell of
a quick way that you can set up distribution lists.
 
You'll get greater functionality from avoiding Dist Lists.

For example: Categorise, group by Category and then you can email merge
through Tools, Mailmerge. You can drag and drop a whole category of people
to the Outbox to email them, drag them to the Calendar to invite to a
meeting.

Check the newsgroup for postings about all the challenges of using Dist
Lists - there are heaps!
