distribution lists

I have several distribution lists that work fine in Outlook 2003.
When I export ALL in my contacts, the distribution lists show up
empty. I treid it several times thinking that I had to populate the
contacts prior to importing the distro lists. To no avail...the
distro lists are still empty. I am running a mixed mode of Exchange
and POP3. Internet email goes through the POP3 account. Exchange is
only used for internal calendars, contacts and tasks. The original
list was imported from Outlook Express into Outlook 2003. I also
tried importing the distro lists to Microsoft Mail (in Vista) and the
lists are fine there. They still do not import properly into Outlook
2007.
Any solutions, thoughts or ideas?

DLs are only one of the items that don't survive exporting or importing.

Why are you trying to export? Just drag the DL fro the folder it's in to
the folder where you want it, if you're going between POP and Exchange.
