distribution lists

Is there a way to make a new distribution list from an already existing one?
For example, can I make a dist. list using only some of the names from the
orignal list, sort of a sub-distribution list?

Select the master DL, click on Edit > Copy to Folder, Select Contacts. Open the
copy, rename it, delete recipients as required, then Save and Close.

I tried to copy the members but the copy command in Edit was in active.
