Distribution Lists

Is there a way to copy/move addresses within a
distribution list, so they are listed as single contacts
instead? I can't use the export function to get 500+
names in my distribution lists to export to excel as
a .csv file. However, single contacts do export exactly as
I need! I would love to hear an answer for listing my
people as single contacts without deleting the
distribution lists and typing everyone in again. Please
let me know if this is possible!

Thanks in advance,

Steph

There is no export function for DL's. What most people do is save the DL as
an RTF file, and from there it is usually an easy matter to save it as a CSV
file that Excel can open.

I saw you suggested that to someone else, but we could not
figure out how to do it once we got it into word. If I
try to do another save as, .csv is not an option. Any
additional tips??

Thanks for your response!

I usually just open it in Word, clean it up to make sure there is only one
Tab between the fields and that the columns are labeled, then save it as a
TXT file. Then open it in Excel which will recognize it as a Tab Delimited
file and let you save it in any format you want.
