Distribution lists and displaying in outlook seems to be slow

Have exchange 2003 and outlook 2003. If I create a distribution group in
Active directory how long before it displays in the Global address list. It
seems to be a bit slow showing them. Also is it better to create them as
Universal Security groups or Universal Distribution lists. We only have 1
domain and 1 exchange server

Generally it shouldn't be too long, but, I think you might want to ask this
over in the microsoft.public.exchange.admin newsgroup and be sure to give
some actual timescale of what you're looking at.
