distribution list size

I sent to a very large distribution list & over 100 where
returned to me with the message "your message did not
reach some or all of the intended recipients. "to many
recipients" What is the size limit of a distribution list?

you might want to check with whomever runs your mail server since they can
set limits on how many recipients per message. (they do this to prevent the
system from being used to send unsolicited commercial e-mail)
