Distribution list - hidden individual addresses

It seems to me that there are an awful amount of requests on this subject. It
may be time for MicroSoft programmers to find a solution to this.
I do not want to use the BCC field as I am not spamming the recipients of my
distribution lists and would like them to see at a glance that they received
the message as they are part of a particular team or group or customer list,
but do not want to disclose to them necessarily the other recipients personal
contact address.

it is true that I could create an address, have it displyed with the same
name of the D.L. and put it in the "to:" box, then put the real list in the
BCC, and repeat the same for all the DLs, but certainly MicroSoft could come
back with a better and simpler solution.

answers like the following, are, in my opinion, unsatisfactory
.....................................
There is no such thing.
Use the BCC field.

No such setting. That is not a property of a DL.
That why the BCC field exists.

The best solution is to use a mail merge and send individual messages. Many anti-spam filters will reject messages that are not addressed to the recipient or from/to an address on a white list.

Thank you - I'm aware of the BCC field - I was looking for some type of
setting that could be set on the dist. list itself to ensure reciepents
were
alwasy hidden, in case a user forgot to use BCC when sending. Are you
aware
of any such setting?

Thanks,
Bruce
