I am looking to distribute pre-configured XP systems to distributors of my
software. The configuration and implementation of the software is completed
by my department and completely QA'ed.
For in-house use, we consume a license of MS-XP for each virtual host. But
our business partners cannot use our licenses.
Can I create a system configuration that is perhaps de-activated and where
my distributor has to register the MS license with microsoft ?

Just sysprep your XP image and don't provide a sysprep.inf file. Then it
should run throught the mini-setup again and prompt the user for a new
product key.

Hi Adam,

Thanks a lot, we've tested the sysprep and were able to create a procedure
that our Microsoft rep is happy with ;)
