Distorted pictures

I'm using digital pictures I downloaded off of a CD and
put them in the timeline and when I play my movie on full
screen the pictures are distorted. I'm new to the movie
maker, I could use any advice on why this happens and how
I can correct this.

MM appears to play a lower res version when playing the timeline so it
doesn't drop frames.

When you render out the video it'sll be the correct resolution for video
(which is smaller than a nice digital photo, but not as bad as what you are
seeing)
