I am a long time Eudora user and I am attempting to acquaint myself
with Outlook because some club members seek my advice.

I cannot see how to edit the POP3 and SMTP settings.

The image, loaded here

http://www.rotary9790.org.au/test/outlook.htm

will show that the dialogue boxes are incomplete. I can get a cursor
into the two settings but cannot reveal anything that is hidden from
this view.

Thanks,

Robin Chapple

Your advice is welcome.

Just a guess, but if you go to display properties (right click your desktop
and select properties), settings tab, advanced button, is the Font Size
under Display set to Large Fonts? If so, set it to small fonts to edit your
settings then set it back to large fonts when done.

The available options are:

Medium
Large
Extra Large

Current setting is medium

What operating system are you using? Is there an equivalent point size
shown?

Was looking over the MS Tech Net.

I have the same Outlook 2002 problem….when I go to tools/options the window
does not fully open. I tried the small font thing. No good.

Did you ever resolve the problem?

Have a GREAT Day!!

Even though the Incoming and Outgoing mail server boxes don't show all the
information, just click on one and the left and right arrow keys, Home, and
End will all work and allow you to change the values, scrolling the
characters as needed. The Next button will become operational as soon as
you type anything in any field.
