Displaying .tif files in Word 2007

I am working on a thesis and have copied and pasted .tif files into my Word
2007 document. When I go to "View" and select "Full Screen Reading" I can
see the pictures just fine. However, if I switch to the "Print Layout" form
then the pictures more or less disappear and take on the form of what I would
call thumbnails. I can also see the pictures in the Print Preview. I'd like
to be able to view the .tif files/pics while in the "Print Layout" view. I'd
appreciate any help. Thank you.

Hi Gary,

Do you get the same result using Insert=>Picture for the graphic as you do when pasting?

The pictures are visible but resized rather than just 'vanishing'?

Are the pictures in text, in a table, in a textbox, etc?

Is this a document you started in Word 2007 or in an earlier version and are you using it as a a .doc or .docx file format when
you're saving?
