Displaying Chinese characters

I use an English version XP. How can I get it to display
Chinese characters in IE, Word, Excel etc.
 
Install Chinese language support. Go to Control Panel \ Regional and
Language Options. Then click the Languages tab, and check "Install files for
East Asian languages".

If you wish to input Chinese characters as well, click the Details button
and install a Chinese IME.
