I`m try to help this pal who has a box that starts up displaying a
window with c:/Windows/system 32 at every start up - once one closes
this window everything works as normal - but it a hassle dealing with
this at every startup.

Have tried looking to see if there was a weird entry under msconfig in
startup - nothing obvious there.

Also for some reason this system will not let me do a system restore to
an earlier date.

I am getting him to check for Trojans and so on.

Does anyone have experience of such a problem and can perhaps give a tip
on how to get rid of this pesky window always showing up?
