New to XP. Why is my background soooo white? On old
system (Win98), programs with light features (microsoft
outlook) were still visable. They are virtually invisible
in XP.

Hi Kelly,

You might want to check the brightness/contrast levels on the monitor. This
can be accessed by the controls located on the front panel of the monitor.
