i need help with my monitor.sometimes when it starts
theres little distortion spots or it wont show
anything.how do i fix this?

The monitor is most likely old and showing signs of wear.
If it is a new monitor, I suggest returning it for a
different one. If you do not wish to change monitors, you
might try finding drivers for your specific monitor online
rather than using the windows generic drivers if you
haven't already. Other than that, there's not much you can
do unless you happen to be a monitor repair man.
