Hanno Spranger

The background of my monitor turned gray with darker gray horizontal bars.
Tried new monitor, RESET to before the problem, changed settings in DISPLAY,
even reinstalled XP without success. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem and have done the same things that you have . The
only thing that i haven't done is change my display adapter. Is your display
adapter a NVIDIA? If so we have something else in common.
