I was hitting controll alt del, i must have hit something else because my
screen went blank, then when iit came back, it had turned 90 degrees to the
left. How do i get my display to go back to normal?
 
You need to tell us what brand of video card or adapter you have.
If you happen to have a NVIDIA card or adapter, right-click on
your desktop and select:

Properties > Settings > Advanced > GeForce (tab) > NVRotate
and change the setting to "Landscape (0 degree rotation)".
