display values in cell

Hi,
how can i display values in 2 cells into a 3rd cell?
eg. cell 1 value is US
cell 2 value is 1234
cell 3 to display US1234 [both cell 1 & 2 value]

Assuming A1=US and B1=1234, in cell C1 put
=A1&B1 to get US1234
