hello,

Modern LCD monitors have only ONE optimal resolution.

You must find the user manual or look on the site of the manufaturer of
the monitor and find
what that best resolution is,
for example this 22 monitor I have in front of me works at 1680x1050 best

all other resolutions appear blurry

if you dont have an LCD post back

Modern helpers have more than one answer. Your one answer is "vista is
stupid" Better go rush to Ubuntu and wipe your system clean.

Hello,
thanks for your post although i am unsure of the monitor type right
now.( i will look it up when i go offline) I am using a Lenovo 3000 N100
laptop. It was a display at Staples and they couldn't find some things that
went with it with a users manual being one of them. I have tried reading
several other post to fix this. changing Screen Res, changing Screen Res in
safe mode, trying everything i can find in the control panel. i can only pick
to screen res options High or Low there is now in between. on Low everything
is HUGE. on High it is almost the right size but appears to be stretched
horizontally and kind of blurry any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

Not Me

Many times that is caused by having the wrong video driver installed.
If it worked before, maybe a driver rollback is in order.
Or check the manufacturer's site for your video card for an updated driver.
Many drivers installed from Windows/MS update cause problems.

I know that a "ASUS WebCAM" i believe it was installed some type of driver i
tried to roll back but it was not available so i uninstalled no luck.
