Display Task Pad in Work Week calendar view

After conducting a search for calendar entries, my Task
Pad pane disappeared from the Work Week calendar view.

Does anyone know how to get it back?

I created a custom view with calendar and Task Pad
together, but the Work Week button is inactive (gray). I
can only choose 7 and 31 days.

Anyone know how to make the Work Week button active?

If you hover your cursor next the right edge of the window, do you get the
double arrows? If yes, then drag it to the left and your Date Navigator and
Taskpad should display again.
