Display Settings - XP Embedded SP2 - FBA

mccleary

I'm having some difficulty setting the display resolution settings for
a xp embedded install with custom shell (so no easy way of changing the
settings manually). My system is running on a Via Epia ML Mini-itx
board. I've included the graphics driver in my image (Via UniChrome
display driver) and have configured the display resolution in this
component.

When booting, I get a resolution of 1024x768 instead of my configured
800x600.

The fbalog shows the following lines. I have searched online for a
definition of the VModes line, but have found nothing. I am assuming
that the VModes line is resetting the resolution to 1024x768, even
though the ChangeDisplaySettings line changed the resolution to my
desired 800x600.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Dear mccleary

Try
-------
Check your Runtime configuration (slx file)> video Component Settings \
Display Settings \ Screen Resolution

Check Dependencies

Rebuild Image

Redeploy Image

Hope that helps

Not a bad idea... but at the same time, I would really like to know
what is really happening here...
