I am building a computer for an industrial application and we're using a very
small monitor. We're running Windows XP Pro and the display settings are set
to 640x480 at 60 Hertz. The annoyance is when booting XP with a resolution
like this it displays a popup balloon from the system tray that complains
about these settings. Is there any way to disable this pop-up? This is not
critical, but it would be nice if we could keep any messages such as these
out of site from our customer. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.
