whenever i click to go to the properties section to change my resolution,
walpaper and screensaver, nothing shows. i went to control panel to access
it too, but it doesn't work.

one of my friend told me to go to the registry. and i saw that everything
for my resolution and everything was 0. everything was deleted. and i don't
know how i can restore it back to normal.

someone said my video card. but i don't know what that is.

if someone can help, please do. also, i am not very good at computers.
please instruct me on how to fix this.

thanks so much.

i tried it. i did what you said and ran it. and still, my display
properties will not show. i'm sorry for continuously bothering you guys, but
this problem don't seem to go away.

is there any other way to solve this???

thank you so much. i am very grateful for your help.

Gals.....

This behavior is common amongst users using third party desktop enhancers.
That said, my edit should have helped. More info needed.

Display Properties exactly where? If all, I answered you.
Control Panel Access - Display, same answer or try line 203
Where exactly did you go in the registry and saw 0?
To update/install the drivers for you video card, go to the Device Manager.

yes, you have helped me in everything. thank you so much. but i guess i do
have to give you more information.

well, i tried the other line and it didn't work either.

this is what's happening. when i right click on my desktop to go to the
display properties and click on it, nothing comes up. i tried with the
control panel. i went to appearance and theme. i click on change
resolution, and nothing shows. it happens with the screen saver and other
things too. it's like i am stuck with this resolution and wall paper forever
now.

i went to the registry editor to check. and when i went to the windows and
then policies folder, i click on system, it shows that i have no color
choice, no display appearance, etc.

does that help any?

alao, how do i go to device manager. thank you! =)

if you by chance have msn messager, my sn is (e-mail address removed). thanks so
much Kelly.

Hi,

At this point I would suggest reinstalling the Display Driver.
You should be able to locate one on the manufactures website.

System Restore is your friend, create a restore point before
installing the driver.

By the way, what is the make and model of the system?
