Display question

I have an XP (IBM) laptop computer. A user is hooked to a projector and on
the laptop itself the display is fine. However on the projector output the
image is alot bigger and you have to scroll up/down & back/forth to see the
rest of the image.

I have hooked to another IBM laptop and it's fine so there must be a setting
on the computer. (I've tried Function F7, F11, display properties)

Set the projector to the same resolution as the laptop screen.

Bob, thanks for the reply.

Got it fixed. The problem when I would go to display properties/settings,
changes to the second monitor would not apply. Both resolutions were set to
1024x768, but the projector/display was actually displaying 640 x ??? so it
was huge output. I actually went to Properties/settings/advanced/ATI
Displays tab, here is Monitor, Panel, TV options. Clicked on the Monitor tab
and changed the resolution. Working great now.
Should have mentioned before ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 adapter.
