Hello! My computer crashed and all my settings were lost. I can no longer
right click my mouse and get all the display properties (appearance and
themes). What do I need to reset to accommodate this function. Thank you and
God bless!

First, eliminate Malware from the system. See:

The Parasite Fight - Quick Fix Protocol:
http://aumha.org/a/quickfix.php

To restore the missing tabs, start Regedit.exe and navigate these two
locations:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]

In the right-pane, delete the following values if found:

- NoDispAppearancePage
- NoThemesTab
- NoDispBackgroundPage
- NoDispScrSavPage
- NoDispSettingsPage

Hello! I really appreciate your response. I tried this and none of the
items you listed appeared. So, I still am unable to access all of the
appearance & themes when right clicking my mouse. Only one item will appear
and then I have to go to the control panel to change additional items.
Again, thank you and additional thoughts would be much appreciated. God
bless!

Which tab(s) are visible currently?

Have you checked these two locations, per my earlier post?

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]

Delete the following values if found

- NoDispAppearancePage
- NoThemesTab
- NoDispBackgroundPage
- NoDispScrSavPage
- NoDispSettingsPage

Can exist under HKEY_CURRENT_USER or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

If none of the above Policies are set (in both of the locations above), but
the display properties tabs are still missing except for the Themes tab, try
these commands from Start, Run dialog:

regsvr32 themeui
regsvr32 /i shell32

Restart Windows.
