Display Problems

Yesterday after rebooting my monitor started displaying
everything in an upward facing V configuration.The closer
to the top of the screen, the larger everything gets.The
lower down the smaller.... From Desktop Icons to Text in
open windows. The monitor is still displaying everything
in a full screen, leading me to believe its not the
monitors manual settings...
can anyone help?

It sounds like either the monitors settings are out of
whack or the monitor will soon be toast.
