Display problem in IE 6

Recently when I left click on an item on a web site which is supposed to
display an image, it makes a Bong Bong sound and does not bring up the
image. It had previously displayed the image in Image Viewer. I have found 3
ways to work-around the problem. A properly timed second click will cause
the display. Holding down the Shift, Ctrl or Alt key when clicking will
solve the problem. Using Firefox also eliminates the problem. It seems that
some setting in IE may be involved, but I have been unable to find one.
