Display help!

I have updated the drivers(mod) of my laptop(Acer Ferrari 3400) in order to
play Counter Strike source. The problem comes when I play fullscreen any
video on any player. the screen goes blank and can't revert back to the
desktop. I went to ati for help but they turn me over to acer wich would not
release any newer versions of the driver. I don't know what is the problem
nor what is the fix for it, an alternate fix I have used is reverting to the
old drivers but it is a pain when I switch from playing a game to playing a
video fullscreen. Thanks for any help.
