Display drive functionality; Assiatnce with

My display functionality has been bad--cannot navigate, screen bleeks, lenthy
logons, etc.. The following pop-up message came up when attempting to go to
internet:

"The nva_disp display drive has stopped working normally. Save your work
and reboot the system to restore full display functionality. The next time
you reboot the machine a dialoque will be displayed giving you a chance to
upload data about the failure to Microsoft."

I don't know what this means or how to respond or fix. And, I'm not
absolutely sure that the problem orginates from the info in this message.
Can anyone assit in this matter? Thanks!

Nva_disp belongs to your nVidia-based video card. Two courses of action:

1- See the nVidia technical support website.
2- If you're feeling reasonably confident in your technical skills,
uninstall all your nVidia software (driver, control panel, etc.) then
uninstall your video card in Device Manager. Next restart your computer.

Windows will install its own nVidia driver. Now go to the nVidia website
and install the latest driver. Follow their installation instructions
with religious devotion.
