Disk Space Windows Vista

Does any one know how much space windows Vista uses please.

Installation requires 11+GB. The system seems to take up around 7GB after
installation. VSS needs 15 percent of the total disk for shadow copies and
SR points. You need to allow for the virtual memory file and temp files.
MS recommends a 40GB drive with at least 15GB free.
