Hi,

I am wondering if the Disk Management Tool is like Partition Magic,in that
you can shrink and expand partitions without disturbing the files on the
partition?
Can it also Rename Drives??

thank you

Hello,

Yes, the new Disk Management tool can shrink as well as expand partitions
without disturbing the files as long as its a FAT32/NTFS file system. And
yes, you can also reassign the drive letters for each drive.

Well, sort of.

While it's claimed that Vista Disk Management allows you to resize partitions,
the reality doesn't always match the expectations. For some reason, Vista will
frequently not be able to resize to the size you desire, even though there is
plenty of free space at the target size.

Don't get rid of your Acronis Disk Director or Partition Magic just yet. :-)
