DISK IS WRITE-PROTECTED

Every time I try to copy photos to CD I get a message 'Disk is write
protected. Remove write protection'. How do I do this?

I am running Windows XP Home & am using brand new Philips CD-RW80 Highspeed
4-12x
 
What software are you using to write your CD. If you are trying to drag and
drop the files, you need software that will allow you to do that.
