Hi matt,
I believe that can be done. Try this:
Click Start
Search
type in "dfrg.msc" (no quotes)
(The search will show you that it's located in System32 directory. FYI)
Right click on the Icon and drag it onto the desktop, and choose "create a
shortcut(s) here".
Close the search window.
Left click and drag the shortcut onto the Start button and hold it there until the
Start Menu expands itself; still dragging the shortcut up the start menu onto
Programs, Accessories, System Tools and drop it in the same place you would normally
find it. You can reorder the list of any throwout to place them in the order you
desire by clicking and dragging an item up or down and letting go.
Check it out by looking to see it is again in the correct place. If you right mouse
click the new icon, and choose "properties", it can be renamed under the "General
tab". Rename it "Disk Defragmenter" and your "all set" as they say in New York.
Hope that fixed you up.

Ok, this sounds really stupid, but I accidentally deleted
the icon for the disk defragmenter under the system tools
folder and now I can't find the disk defrag program on my
computer anywhere.
Is there any way to restore the icon short of reinstalling
Windows 2000?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Matt
