My xp disk was damaged and i need a copy...
I reg. my software when I loaded it this year and I was
wanting to know if you could send me a new one and how
much it will cost...

You apparently think you're addressing Microsoft here, but you're
not. This is a peer support newsgroup. Although there may be an
occasional Microsoft employee here, posting on his own time,
there's no official Microsoft presence. we are all just
volunteers, helping each other when we can--even those of us with
the title "Microsoft MVP."

As far as your CD is concerned, if yours was a retail version,

But if it was an OEM version, Microsoft won't support it and
you're probably out of luck. However it doesn't hurt to try
asking the OEM you bought it from if they can replace it.
