How can I copy all my files from my c drive onto my d drive .Am using windows
xp and have just installed larger hard drive as was low on disk space please

You need special software such as Powerquest Disk Imager to do this. Google
the words "drive image" for more info.

A single disk CD-R or CD-RW is not large enough to hold all the files. You'll
need a third party app to do this like Norton's (Symantec) Ghost drive. And
that is not free. Go to: Symantec.com
