Disk Cleanup

I have a HP Pavilion with Windows XP Home. I have tried
useing disk cleanup and it just gets stuck on comressed
files and will not go any further. I had to do a recovery
that was installed with HP. It was a HP recovery and I
didnt loose any data I had or programs. I tried system
restore to a few days earlier but did not work. I was
haveing so many troubles with programs opening and ran PC
doctor and all seemed OK. What can I do to resolve this
trouble or do I have to do a complete system recovery and
go back to the factory settings? WOW, I hope not. Thanks.

Save on Desktop.
Double click the icon once downloaded.
The icon can then be discarded.
