Disk Cleanup

Kelly I am having trouble with my Disk Cleanup. I keep
getting the message (Disk Cleanup is calculating how much
space you will be able to free on(C. This may take a
few minutes. Scanning: Compress old files). The problem
is nothing happens after that message. I have left that
window open for over 15 minutes but nothing happens. What
can I do?

Run "chkdsk /f" on the system. Seems like it is having problem reading
some files or directories on the systme.

Untick compress old files. There are a few reg hacks that will
rid this. Try kellys site.
