Disk checking problem

Steven

After performing disk checking on my hard drive the system
will not reboot into the OS (WinXP). I've tried doing a
repair with the OS disk but it is still tring to run the
disk checking procedure after every reboot. If I try to
cancell the procedure it still will not boot up the WinXP
OS. It is stuck on the same blue disk checking screen
which states:

A disk check has been scheduled.
Disk checking has been cancelled.
Windows has finished checking the disk.

It should reboot the system after cancelling out of the
disk check but it's just staying on the disk checking
screen almost like it has locked up.

If someone could help me out with this matter I'd be
greatful. Thanks in advanced.

I had the same problem and solved it by increasing the IRP Stack Size.
Refer to:
Symantec Document ID: 1999102015170006
which refers to "Error: Not enough server storage is available......"
and
Windows Operating System Events and Errors ID:2011
