Disk boot Failure

Computer was working fine when put away(only a 2 year old comp.HP)went
to use and get this message DISK BOOT FAILURE,INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND
PRESS ENTER.as alot of you know,there is no disk with alot of comp.
today.Can't make floppy with new Compaq doesn't have that feature.Can
get to Bios by hitiing F1,but not into system recovery by hitting F10.
thanks your help is always appreciated

Hi,

Your hard drive may have failed. To check it, grab Dell's diagnostic tools
on a different system and create the boot disk set. Use it to check the
state of the hardware in the system.
