discussion group GUI problem

I can't find a discussion on the discussion group user interface itself, so
I'll post this here. Please advise if there's a more appropriate discussion
group for this.

When I have my IE window sized the way I prefer (leaving other windows
accessible), I only see 7 topics listed, and the text on the right doesn't
flow properly. Resizing the entire IE window will show more topics (and if
made wide enough, corrects the text flow problem). But the vertical split bar
between the topic and text panes isn't working properly.

When I use the split bar to widen the text pane, I get, uh, unexpected
results. Sometines it works, if I don't move it too far. Sometimes, it will
snap back to the original width, so I assume I've crossed some minimum width
threshold for the topic pane, so it restored the default width. On other
occasions, I've gotten an "invalid argument" error at line 2, char 26877, and
the views come up empty (a refresh corrects this).

This occurs using IE7 (7.0.6000.16743) under Vista Business.

Many users don't access this group via the web. Some use Outlook Express or
Windows Mail.

I, too, have seen some weird rendering problems with IE7 on Vista. Have you
tried FireFox or Opera? I know that the sites I had -that- problem with when
running IE7 did not exhibit the problem when accessing the same site with
FireFox. (There were other problems with FireFox, but not -that- problem!
LOL! Problem-free software; the holy grail, methinks.)
