discussion group archive pages

How do I set up a good archive system for a discussion
group? Can I set it up to be automatic?

PS. I got my site up and running again, but had to
delete posts to do it...

Best way is to publish the current DW to a new subweb (say "archive") and then publish a clean empty one to the old DW subweb
- set up links to each of the subwebs
- you can also open the archive subweb and in the headers remove the Post and Reply options from the menus
