Discussion Forum

A strange problem has just begun at a FrontPage Discussion Forum at one of
my web sites. When a new post is created, FrontPage adds the content of an
earlier message to the new message.

I though there might be too many messages in the Tocproto.htm, so I removed
all mention of messages before 2004 (although the individual messages still
exist at the site--in fact they are being added to the new postings), but
nothing changed. I have recalculated hyperlinks, but no change.

The problem is at http://www.tpcug.org/discussion_frm.htm .

Has anyone encountered such a problem before?

I believe that just tells how to maintain a Discussion Forum. What I need
to know is how to keep it from adding parts of old messages to new messages.

Anyway, I threw in the towel. I deleted all messages before 2004 (thee were
hundreds of them), caused the tocproto.htm file to be refreshed. Then I
went in a looked closely at the HTML of the tocproto file and corrected a
few problems with the <dd> , <dl> tages, etc. It had somehow become
corrupt.
