Discontinued?

I am looking at the Epson Perfection 2400 Flatbed Scanner and I see
that it is out of stock on the Epson site. Does this mean the scanner
is going to be discontinued in the near future? I realize it's been
out for a couple years but I hate to buy something just before it's
discontinued, fearing the price will then drop dramatically.

Any thoughts?

Yes, the 2400 is discontinued.
It has been replaced with the 3200 Photo.
