Disc clean up

I am having difficulty in getting the disc clean
up utility to complete its process.The function starts
ok...compresses old files,then it tells me to wait.This
goes on..and on.The task manager informs me that the disc
cln up process is using up 98-99% cpu usage.This problem
is the same on all user accounts.
Hoping you can help

I attempted this site - it isn't a valid address. I too have disk clean up
issues. I need to know how to reinstall it at this point (I think). I
attempted the lame excuse for the extended warranty company access line
purchased from microsoft that doesn't address my concerns. I also hope that
Bill is reading this, I've lived all over the world and do not have issues
with any groups of people due to nationality. What I take issue with (in this
companies case ) are people who direct me to clean a couple of files out and
then tell me to keep holding on and eventually hang up on me without ever
adressing my concern................Bill????
