I use Outlook Express.
Lately, I can be looking at an email and decide I want to check something in
another mailbox. When I come back, the mail I was looking at has
disappeared.
This has happened a few times lately and I'm stumped. I've checked all the
folders I have setup under my Inbox and the missing mail is nowhere to be
found.
This seems to happen anytime I change the active window on my desktop. I go
away and when I come back to OE, the message has gone somewhere.
Any ideas?
I remember in Windows 98SE you used to be able to repair Internet Explorer
and Outlook Express by going through the Control Panel/Add/Delete Programs
routine and when you chose to delete the program you were given the option
of deleting it or repairing it. Sadly, this option no longer appears in XP.
At least as far as I know.
Any helpful suggestions will be gratefully accepted.
