As you all know, one can go to "Tools/Internet Options"
and under "home page type in a home page address. I have
been doing this for years. Recently, for some strange
reason, my home page address is always being deleted.
When I click on home, instead of going (for example)
to "http://www.nytimes.com/" what appears in the address
bar is "http:///" I have corrected this dozens of times
and the problem persists. A few days ago I tried to
download a recent upgrade of "Internet explorer," but
this didn't help. Someone suggested I might need spyware,
so I installed "Spy sweeper," but this hasn't helped
either. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bob McNulty
