Disappearing Data

I have created a main form with several fields; I then added tab controls;
within each tab control is a subform. Everything seems to be working ok as I
enter the data until I close the form and re-open it - none of the data I
entered is in the form. The strange part is that the data is present in the
table. My users will be using the form as a reference and data entry point.
Does anyone know what is happening? I am a self taught access user so I may
be missing a lot.

With the form in design mode, check the data entry of the form properties is
set to NO

If its set to YES, only new records can be added, old records will not be
displayed. there are other reasons for non display of data but I would check
this setting first.
