Disappearing D Drive

Hi

I have just changed Computers and am Using X P Pro as the operating system.
The problem I have is that the D drive disappears if it is not used
during the day. The only way to get it back is to Restart the Computer.

Has Any one got any Ideas.

What is D drive? Hard drive? CD/DVD drive? External drive?
