Disappearing CD-RW

Can somebody give me an idea what to do?
For some reason I cant access my burner. I have Nero express also does it
have problems with XP Pro with SP2?
I cannot burn anything.
In Device Manager it says it is running okay. (Artec WSM-52Z)
In Manager it says the burner is:
CD-ROM 0
CD-ROM
Online
My regular CD Drive is:
CD-ROM 1
CD-ROM (K:)
No Media
Notice no drive letter for the burner

Bruce, try going back into Device Manager and selecting your Cdrw drive and
rt click choose Uninstall. Also, if you know which IDE connector the drive
is on Primary or Secondary then choose Ata/Atapi Controllers and uninstall
whichever one the
drive resides on. Restart and let XP reinstall.
